Page rates

I charge $14 per page for stylistic edits, also known as medium edits. Because margins, headings, tables, and other factors affect the length of the actual page, I use the industry standard of 250 words per page. My How I edit page outlines what's included in your edit. To estimate how much I'll charge for your document, calculate $56 per 1000 words. (Include all front and back matter, such as abstract and reference list.) The following sample rates are for substantive editing of a completed manuscript and do not include work on subsequent revisions. 3000 words: $168 5000 words: $280 10,000 words: $560 I accept payment in Canadian and US dollars.
